All the restaurants listed have been visited by New Zealand Travel Site staff and all views are their opinion only. Their are thousands of restaurants or places to eat in New zealand ranging from the corner fish and chip shop through to world reknowned restaurants. Our staff have visited all the restaurants below and have given their own review of the food, staff and ambiance.
- Ma Maison Restaurant Akaroa
This restaurant is on the waterfront in Akaroa, a pretty little town about 1.5 hours from Christchurch. Akaroa was originally discovered by the French and therefore all the street names and a lot of businesses have French names.
- Queenstown Restaurants
There is a wide variety of restaurants in Queenstown. We have experienced a few of the restaurants to date and details are here.
- The Green Room - Wanaka
Unfortunately the only restaurant that we went to in Wanaka for an evening meal. An embarrasement from start to finish.
- Sopranos Restaurant - Petone
We went out to a meal at Sopranos which is actually in an area called Petone approximately 10 minutes from Wellington.
- Plateau - Taupo
We had one of the best meals of our trip at Plateau restaurant in Taupo. Plateau is centrally located in Taupo.
