Quality Resort Heritage Hotel

A middle of the road hotel in Rotorua but good restaurant.

We have stayed at the Quality Resort Heritage hotel which is coincidentally part of the same chain as the hotel we have stayed in Auckland.  I must say though that it was significantly better than its Auckland sister hotel although slightly on the shabby side.  One of the nice things about it was that we had a private outdoor spa.  It was lovely to relax in that on a cold frosty night.  We were very impressed with the restaurant called The Scotch Poacher.  They have a very extensive menu and the maitre de was very attentive.  We ate there both nights and were very happy with our meals.  The cost was reasonable and meals were imaginative.
